Floor heating under wooden floors

Floor heating under wooden floor is a warm possibility, which many people choose. You just have to be aware of the fact that wood is a natural material which puts demands on a floor heating system. Usually the wooden floor manufacturers prescribe a max. temperature of 27° which must not be exceeded.  

Precise controls
Floor heating under wooden floors call for a very precise heat control. The Devireg™ electronic thermostat with floor sensors ensures that the temperature in the floor construction always is in accordance with the tolerance level recommended by the manufacturer of the wooden floor.

The precise control makes your floor nice and warm - and never too hot.

Under all types of wooden floors

The DEVI floor heating system can be used anywhere in the house, regardless whether the floor is constructed with floor boards on joists, wood-laminates or massive parquet on concrete supported by joists.

Under all circumstances it is important that the floor is well insulated below to ensure the best heating comfort and most economical result. 

Product choise
A wooden floor should not be heated with cables with an output of more than 10W/m.
We recommend the Deviflex™ DTIP-10 or DTIE.

A floor sensor with max. limit function must always be installed with wooden floor applications and for regulation.
We recommend one of the following thermostats: Devireg™ 550, Devireg™ 535, Devireg™532, Devireg™132 and Devilink for advanced, wireless and easy to understand heating.
