Maybe you have stopped on the new build ASFINAG motorway stations along the motorway in Austria.
The small buildings in a modern architectural style will have toilets and in some places a small shop for refreshments.
Most of the buildings will have a DEVI floor heating system to enable a comfortable room climate during winter time. The builder is the Austrian company ASFINAG taking care of all national roads and motorways.
