Advantage to the Floor Construction
Electric heating offers a number of constructive advantages in a building project.
First of all, the fact, that Danfoss LX heating cables or mats are placed just under the floor covering makes for a very light floor construction.
Water based floor heating usually needs a concrete layer of 60 to 100 mm. on top of the water tubes in order to diffuse the heating. Electric Danfoss floor heating is laid directly in the thinset which means that it practically doesn’t add any additional height to the floor at all.
