Frost protection of doors and gates
Ice on doors represents a real problem to e.g. car washes and water treatment plants during winter or for cold stores all year round.
The frost means that the door easily can freeze at the weather stripping when the door is opened. In connection with sliding and swing doors the frost problems can also concern the slide bars.
Beside the obvious damages to the door/weather stripping, increased freezing of the weather strippings can also imply that the doors cannot shut tight. This again increases energy consumption in the cold room due to the large temperature differences.
