Floor surfaces
All floor surfaces are well suited for electrical floor heating but the cables must be covered with at least 20-25 mm of concrete if the covering material consists of wood or plastic.
Flooring materials with a high insulation value, like thick wool carpets, can limit the heat distribution from the floor. Please contact the manufacturer uf the floor surface to verify that the floor materials used including underlying plywood, noise absorption mats etc. has an insulation value R less than 2,5 TOG (0,25 m²K/W).
The supplier of the floor surface should also be consulted with regard to the glue to be used etc.
